C. Dennis Clayton was born in Illinois and grew up in Kansas and Palm Beach County. After serving in the United States Air force during the Vietnam War, he graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science. In 1975, Dennis chose Gainesville as his permanent home, enjoying its southern, small-town hospitality, diversity and mild climate. In 1980, Dennis began his real estate career. In addition to specializing in commercial sales and land development over the past 20 years, he also has vast experience in residential, industrial and vacant land sales.
